Why Hansesitz exists
Hansesitz is a small online shop from Hamburg. No corporation, no call centre – when you write to us, the person who runs the shop answers.
Where the name comes from
Hamburg is a Hanseatic city. The Hanseatic League stood for trade you could rely on: clear agreements, sound goods, a word that holds. That is exactly how we want to work. The name is not decoration – we really are based here.
Better one product done properly
Most shops upload a hundred articles and hope something sticks. We do the opposite. There is one product here, and we know it inside out: the ergonomic seat cushion for everyone who spends most of the day sitting – at a desk, in a home office or in the car.
What we sell, we use ourselves first. On our own office chair and in our own car, not just unboxed and packed away again. If something does not convince us, it never makes it into the shop. That is the only quality filter we really rely on.
How we work
Shipped from Germany. Our stock sits in a warehouse in Germany, not overseas. That is why it is usually with you in two to five working days and not in three weeks.
We only claim what we can back up. No invented reviews, no promises of healing, no made-up crossed-out prices. Our seat cushion is a comfort product, not a medical device. It makes long sitting more bearable. It does not heal a slipped disc. You will not find promises like that here.
We are new, and we say so. Other shops act as if they had been around for twenty years. We have just started. That is also why there are no customer reviews here yet – as soon as there are genuine ones, they will appear. Until then you have your 14-day right of withdrawal, and that is worth more than any invented five-star text.
If something goes wrong
Just get in touch. You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, and if a parcel arrives damaged or never turns up, we sort it out without argument – with a replacement or a refund.
