Why even a good chair turns hard after two hours
The pressure is not spread evenly. When you sit, a large part of your upper body weight rests on two small points of bone and the tailbone. A lot of weight on very little surface – which is why even a soft chair eventually turns hard.
Car seats are not built for comfort. They are designed for safety and lateral support. For two hours on the motorway the seat base is usually too flat and too firm – you do not notice it in the car park, you notice it halfway through the trip.
Softer is not automatically better. A cushion that is too soft bottoms out, and then you are sitting on the hard surface again. What matters is not how soft it feels when you first press it, but whether it still carries you after hours.

Frequently asked questions
Will the cushion fit my chair?
Almost certainly. At around 46 × 40 cm it sits well on normal office chairs, car seats and kitchen chairs.
Will it flatten over time?
Memory foam returns to its shape. Unlike basic polyester foam, which is worn through after a few weeks.
Does it slide on a leather seat?
The underside is non-slip. On smooth leather it is best to press it down firmly once, then it stays put.
How fast will my order arrive?
We ship from a warehouse in Germany. Your order is usually with you within 2–5 working days. Shipping within Germany is on us.
Can I return it?
Yes. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to orders from the EU. Just send us an email with your order number.
